Health Data and Medical Disclaimer

Emergency: Elo-Kin does not monitor entries or contact emergency services. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency number when someone may need urgent help.

1. Personal organization only

Elo-Kin can organize user-created medication, symptom, appointment, exercise, diet, sleep, mood, temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, and other logs. These records are for personal organization and communication. They are not a diagnosis, prescription, treatment plan, clinical chart, or medical-device output.

2. No medical advice or professional relationship

AliciaOS LLC is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical, mental-health, dietary, legal, or emergency advice. Using the Service does not create a clinician-patient relationship. Ask a qualified professional about symptoms, medication, tests, treatment, pregnancy, nutrition, exercise, or other health decisions.

3. Accuracy and reminders

Information may be entered incorrectly, become outdated, synchronize late, or be changed by an authorized household member. Notifications may be delayed or blocked by a device, browser, network, or service interruption. Never rely on Elo-Kin as the only medication reminder, safety alarm, emergency monitor, or source of critical information.

4. HIPAA and regulated records

Elo-Kin is offered as a consumer household organizer. We do not represent that the Service is a HIPAA-covered service or that using it satisfies duties imposed on a healthcare provider, health plan, employer, school, or other regulated organization. Do not use Elo-Kin for a workflow that requires a business associate agreement or specialized regulated record system unless a separate written agreement expressly authorizes that use.

5. Household visibility

Health content may be visible to household members according to profile and log permissions. Review access before entering sensitive information, sharing a device, exporting a backup, or enabling a notification that could appear on a lock screen. Parents and guardians should use extra care with a child’s health information.

6. Optional AI

If external AI Quick Capture is enabled, only text deliberately submitted to Quick Capture is sent for interpretation. Do not submit medical emergencies or rely on the result for dose, diagnosis, treatment, risk, or safety decisions. Elo-Kin instructs the feature not to invent medication doses or private context, but output can still be wrong.

7. Privacy, export, and deletion

Health entries are treated as sensitive information, are not sold, and are not used for targeted advertising. Authorized users can use available export, archive, permission, and deletion controls. Account deletion is subject to the process in the Data Retention and Deletion Notice.

8. Health-data incidents

Depending on the information and circumstances, the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, state consumer health-data laws, or other breach-notification laws may apply. Elo-Kin will investigate and provide required notices; this Disclaimer does not narrow those obligations.
